Infant Radiant Warmer
Following Images are of Infant Radiant Warmer made by Phoenix Medical System. Its model is NWS 101
User'S Safety Precaution:
- The Infant Radiant Warmer should be used only by properly trained personnel and under the direction of qualified medical personnel who are familiar with current known risks and usage if this equipment.
Infant Safety Precautions:
- The distance between the infant mattress and the bottom surface of heater unit must be within 850+/- 25mm. If the distance is lesser than specified, it may result in Hyperthermia, overheating of the Infant. And, if the distance is more than specified, it may result in reduced warming and thus Hypothermia of the Infant.
- Do not place heavy loads(>5kg) over any part of the equipment.
- Do not expose a very cold baby to a warm radiant warmer.Pre-warm the bed for at least 15 minutes before placing the infant. Alternatively operate the equipment in manual mode with the warmer output at 70%-80% and switch to Servo Mode when the baby's temperature is within 0.5°C of the required temperature.
